2. Data We Collect

• Identity data: name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account
• Activity data: favourite rules, quiz results, game statistics, and learning progress
• Payment data: billing information (processed by Stripe — we never store card numbers)
• Technical data: IP address, device type, browser version, access timestamps
• Location data: GPS position on the golf course (only when you grant permission)

3. Purpose of Processing

• Operation and improvement of the App
• Cross-device data synchronisation (Firestore)
• Subscription management and payment processing
• Customer support
• Compliance with legal obligations

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Processing is carried out on the basis of: (a) performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), (b) legitimate interests of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), (c) your consent for marketing communications.

5. Recipients of Personal Data

• Google LLC — authentication (Firebase Auth) and cloud storage (Firestore)
• Stripe, Inc. — payment processing
• Recipients are not authorised to use data for their own purposes.

6. International Transfers

Data may be processed in the USA (Google, Stripe). Transfers take place on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses under GDPR or another adequate mechanism.

7. Retention Period

Data is retained for the duration of your active account and for 3 years after account deletion for tax record purposes. Data can be deleted earlier upon your request — use the "Delete account" option in the app.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to: access your data · correct inaccurate data · erasure of your data · restriction of processing · data portability · object to processing · withdraw consent · lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

9. Cookies & Local Storage

The app uses basic technical cookies necessary for operation (Firebase authentication tokens). We do not use third-party tracking or marketing cookies. Local storage is used for offline functionality.

10. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (Firebase). Access to data is controlled by Firebase Security Rules. Admin access is protected by two-factor authentication.

11. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we will notify you in advance via the app or by email. Changes take effect from the date of notification.
